Catherine Ryan
Catherine Ryan joined our team in February 2008. Born in Smithers, BC, she spent her school years playing basketball and many other sports. As the daughter of an RCMP officer, she adjusted and adapted through many family moves across Western Canada. Catherine comes to our office very organized, detail-oriented, friendly and is definitely an easy person to work with. She definitely models what we would consider to be the ideal Advico team member – having a high moral centre and a wonderful work ethic, she is honest, trustworthy, and has a good sense of humour.
A devoted mother of two young girls and loving wife of 11 years, Catherine cites her faith and her family as her top priorities. She teaches Sunday school and Vacation Bible school at Bethel Lutheran in Sherwood Park, as well as working on “anything creative” around the church. She enjoys music and is currently teaching herself to play the guitar. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys camping, doing yard work around their acreage, cooking and being with her family.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree, honours diplomas in office administration and the legal assistant program, as well as over 20 years of office experience working with both small and large companies, we are truly blessed to have Catherine with us. With all the stories in the marketplace of companies that are having trouble finding qualified people, we have truly found a real diamond in the rough, and our clients are the beneficiaries of her decision to join us.
