Brent Jewell

Brent Jewell is a founding partner and serves as the General Manager of Advico Professional Investment Services. Prior to joining Advico, he was the Western Canadian Vice-President for a national moving company for 18 years before he opened two beer and wine making stores in Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan, which he still owns and are successfully operating today.

When Brent is not working, he believes strongly in contributing to his community. Since the late 1970’s he has been a member of various service clubs including the Kinsmen and Rotary Clubs. He has traveled around the world and has had opportunities to help establish better living conditions in developing countries. He is also a member of the Sherwood Park Chamber of Commerce, where he served as President in 1998/1999. As well he is a former two term County Councilor for Ward 1 in Strathcona County. In 2007, Brent decided to run for Mayor of Strathcona County and after a close and successful campaign the narrow margin defeat favourably led him to Advico.

As a partner, Brent shares over 30 years of business acumen and political knowledge, providing Advico with the necessary experience to establish a strong foothold in the financial services arena across Alberta. He assists in hiring talented, well-trained and motivated staff, while also helping run the daily activities at Advico. His talents offer skills in the areas of accounting/book keeping, company organization, and accountability and training session with agents and staff.

Brent’s charming persona and jovial, yet professional, attitude make him a perfect fit at Advico. To prevent things from getting too serious, he always has a joke to lighten things up. Brent’s wisdom and experience make him an incredible asset and Advico could not be happier to have him as part of the team.
