Bernie Thomas

Born in Ireland and the 7th of 10 children, Bernie brings a wealth of experiences, both professional and personal, to the Advico family. Her family is her top priority, as is living her life simply and happily. Within minutes of talking to Bernie you will realize that she is crazy about being a mom, speaks her mind and laughs a lot! “Raising a family, taking voice lessons, and my own personal growth are the things I am most proud of,” she says. Active in her parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, she is a member of the choir and reads at service. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and walking. She lives in Sherwood Park with her husband, son and daughter.

Although dedicated to her family, she is also committed to doing the best job she can at anything she undertakes. As Advico’s receptionist and in file management area, she uses her skills with people and paper to make everyone feel welcome, taken care of and efficiently managed. With a good sense of humour and a strong sense of herself and her beliefs, you will feel like part of her family from the minute she meets you and hands you, as she herself will say, “the best cup of tea in the world”.
